We run regular photography workshops for beginners who own DSLR cameras, but are unsure how to move off the automatic settings.
Advocating a 'Cheat's Guide' to photography, we show how it is possible to dramatically improve your photos by learning a few simple tricks. We also teach a rudimentary understanding of the displays and switches on your camera - even if you never use the majority of them!
The workshops are interactive sessions, where you will be encouraged to experiment with your camera, and ask lots of questions!
Subjects covered include:
- the different settings on your camera, and how to use them to best effect
- understanding and adjusting exposure
- file formats and editing software
- basic composition and lens choice

"Loved your photography course - really bound together the bits I didn't know with the bits I did and got me keen to carry my camera with me a bit more. You and Imi are a great team." Catherine Copping
"I just wanted to say a quick thank you for the great workshop last week. I thoroughly enjoyed it and most importantly learned a lot which I put into practice immediately when I got home (the poor boys were fed up of me photographing them by the end of the day)! Thanks for all the hospitality as well- gorgeous food and gorgeous surroundings and a lovely relaxed atmosphere and pace." Noeleen Farrell
